Rulesets

The PVP experience:
modified D&D systems

Join us in celebrating D&D, by dueling you friends! Over years and hundreds of matches we have worked hard to cultivate rulesets that both understand and support the core systems they come from. All fans of the original here, we also know how much fun pvp can really be.

Let us acknowledge that our beloved RPG isn’t designed for what we want to do with it. The following is an attempt at creating a balanced and more engaging player versus player (PvP) experience, as close to rules as written (RAW) as possible. These are living documents and will only get stronger with your help. We’ll see you on the battlefield!

Fifth Edition D&D

  • This ruleset has evolved over hundreds of matches and will continue to grow with such a great community behind it. Built with accessibility in mind, it is our core and designed to give a pvp experience as tight to 5e as fun and balance will allow. We commonly use this ruleset for both Competitive Tournaments and Exhibition Play.

  • This ruleset is a 5e experience. The knowledge and skills you learn here or arrive knowing already are directly translatable.

All Official sourcebooks are available for use. Some spells are either banned or slightly modified for balance, we allow some precasting and have listed what equipment you are allowed to bring. There are variations for PVP like hit die/short rest regeneration and more competitive diagonal movement.

  • First, we challenge you to try it before you knock it :). We are always open to change and it is for this reason we stand behind our rules—as a time tested and ongoing evolution.

We must also understand that the difference between balance and matter of taste is important—the former our aim. If you have any thoughts about how we can improve what we do; help us in building something better!

2024 Edition D&D

  • The new 5.5 edition will be used for both Competitive and Exhibition play. The latter will begin immediately once everything drops. The former, we aim to facilitate once we have have a solid grasp of what it entails.

  • We will design them and get back to you :).

  • Because they aren't out yet :).

Join us for not only testing the new edition, but creating the next pvp minded ruleset!
